Each year, the Board of Directors of Pine Castle Pioneer Days names a local artist to produce a work worthy of serving as the centerpiece of festival publications. Our 2017 signature artist Claudia Thomas was introduced at our annual Silent Auction (TBD), and her original painting was unveiled. It graced our magazine cover for our "Back to Fort Gatlin" edition.
The 2017 theme was selected to proudly show the rich history of Pine Castle and the area under the security offered by this frontier fort during the Seminole Wars.
For more details, or to obtain copies of the 2017 edition or previous years' magazines, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
An index of back issues (along with transcripts of some articles) may be found at our online archive at this link: http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~oldpinecastle/pdmags/index.html
